Happy Happy Halloween!!! Trick or TREAT? :)
This is my first trial to make any tarts, it turned out to be quite successful :D
It looks quite good, though I was too lazy to put on a thin cut of egg for the golden surface.
The tart is crispy and the mixture of cheese taste good! :P
Some egg whites are added to the mixture of cheese to add more foaming texture to the cheese :P
(I really hate beating egg whites sometimes, because it really takes time and a bit tiring to wait for it to stand.)
I was really afraid of failing in making the tarts itself, because it is the first time I ever tried to mold in the dough to a mold.
After taking them out from the oven, it seems I have been over-panic.
After letting the tarts to sit on the rack for complete cool down, I pour in the cheese mixture.
They smelled really really yummy!!!! ;P
Baking them for the second time to make the surface of the cheese harden a bit.
Time for testing if it's melted inside!!!!!!!!!!!>.<
It turns out to be lava-like. I think it's not that hard to make. :)
I might do it again in the future. Let me know down in the comment below whether you want a detailed recipe and procedures. :P
Cheese tarts are really hot items in Hong Kong recently.
I chose not to queue for 2 hours for $20 a tart, but baking them myself at around $10-12@ cost. :)
Til next time!! (^o^)/
