Shopaholic on Budget: 2015 Winter America Trip Day 2

Haven't been typing for days, coz am busy tidying my stuff and de-cluttering for the CNY :P
CAUTION: extreme long post due to the number of photos /0\
And I am trying to mark down how much we spent throughout the trip~
Hope it helps if you are planning to go for a trip too :D

終於打第二日啦，最近忙住大掃除＞＜

Day 2 第二日 (26 Dec 2015)

Our alarm went off at around 8 a.m. We got up slowly and really trying to adapt to the cool weather.
We enjoyed our delicious breakfast at the hostel and had a chat with the host. Daniel helped us to call some museums to check if they opened on the day after Christmas (Saturday).

八點鬧鐘叫醒咗我～天氣太凍所以梳洗都慢啲:P
落到廚房Joanne整咗個三文治俾我地:)仲同兩位屋主傾咗陣計～Daniel仲幫我地打電話去啲博物館睇下佢地星期六開唔開(雖然我地無計劃去/.\)
佢地真係好好人！大家去SF要搵佢地！XD

Then we started our San Francisco sightseeing day :)
We called our trip as city hunting and running to different places for checkpoints :P

開始我地舊金山嘅觀光之旅！

Passed by when we are heading to our 1st checkpoint ;P

First checkpoint: Lombard Street :P
Beautiful street with tons and tons of tourists, it has been a good driving experience for K. Though he said the road is much wider than expected. I think it should be the road differences between Hong Kong and America XD

第一站：倫巴底街
啲相影得唔靚，因為個S形嘅街好暗...
一條好多彎又斜嘅路係一大挑戰！不過好彩條路夠闊，所以K都揸得幾輕鬆:D

Second checkpoint: Fisherman's Wharf - Hyde Street Pier
It was a sunny day and lucky day :P
We found a spot for parking and got off the car for some photo taking :)

第二站：舊金山漁人碼頭
好好彩搵到位泊，天氣又好好 B)

Third checkpoint: Golden Gate Bridge
When we got our rental car, a pamphlet for crossing Golden Gate Bridge was attached. It clearly stated that we need to register online before we cross the bridge for the toll, or else rental car company will charge us with some administrative expenses. So we did register with our license plate and what time will we be crossing the bridge. (I remember it is cheaper for pre-registered;D)

第三站：金門大橋
必去地標！！！好多旅遊巴，又好多遊客！自駕記得用FasTrak俾咗橋費先;)

Forth checkpoint: Sausalito
We parked our car at the public parking car park. We walked around and ate a sandwich in a cafe. Then we tried the blue ice cream we saw :P Eating ice cream in such a cool weather :S

第四站：索薩利托
K計劃咗黎呢個小城行吓，食啲野，影下相咁～

How cool if we were living in this inn enjoying this view~

There were this kind of art work everywhere and people selling photos of them

It's good to travel during Christmas coz I could see lots of different decorations :)

Fifth checkpoint: Rodeo Beach
We then drove to Rodeo Beach waiting for the sunset!!!! Such a beautiful view :)

第五站：海灘/沙灘
等睇日落！呢度望住成條水平線，海天一色好靚<3

We were sitting at the back of our SUV, looking at the beach and waiting for sunset.

We made it! The view was soooooooooo stunning!!!!!

A Malaysian couple offered helping us to take a photo after we helped them :)

Sixth checkpoint: Fort Point National Historic Site
There was a traffic jam when we were trying to get here from the bridge, and it was too dark to see anything. So we quickly left for another checkpoint :P

個天黑晒除咗條橋咩都睇唔到...所以影咗將手陣嘅相打卡就走～

Seventh checkpoint: Palace of Fine Arts
It's such a beautiful place!!!!! Please excuse any shaking and out-focus of the photos coz it was so cold and so dark, I was taking photos with really slow shutter and my shivering hands ><

夜景真係好靚！但太黑天氣又凍所以我手震影唔到好多對焦嘅相/0\

Apparently I was too excited when I saw the decorations each house has.

I just couldn't stand not taking a photo.

See that lights :D

Stunning view means choosing coming at night time was the right choice :D

Eighth checkpoint: Fisherman's Wharf - Pier 39
We were here again! Coz we could not think of a place to dine and we heard from Daniel and Joanne saying many restaurants might not be operating on the Christmas weekend. So we decided to go to Pier 39, which we did not managed to go for a walk in the morning.

第八站：舊金山漁人碼頭 - 39號碼頭
諗唔到去邊好就去番朝早無行嘅39碼頭～有好多小食，夜晚都好熱鬧，不愧為遊客區！

After eating our dinner, we went into CVS to buy a lotion (USA is super dry compared to Hong Kong) and drinks. [total US$13.08]

We ran into a show ;)

This photo is super shaky, coz I wanted to take a photo of the sea lions in the dark and people were walking on the deck constantly that I could not keep my hands steady.

We then went to Trish's Donuts, as I yelped before I came to USA that people like it. So we got some desserts for ourselves. They used a machine to fry all the donuts. It's my first time to come across such a machine!

之前上yelp睇過呢個冬甩幾好食所以買坐黎試，好多人排隊(應該因為天氣凍所以大家都想搵啲野暖胃)
