2015 Winter America Trip Day 1 | 聖誕美國之旅 第一日

Hi all, it has took me a while to put everything together :P Sorry for the late post.
It's a really long post with lots of pictures! Please bare with me :P

Day 1 第一日 (25 Dec 2015)
I took the flight in the afternoon (HK Time) to Los Angeles.
香港時間下午我搭飛機往洛杉磯。

Hi California!!

There was some ice due to the extreme height >o<

Weather is good in California as always :D

I didn't take any pictures of our domestic flight to San Francisco.  We took Southwest Airlines, service is good.  We found that domestic flights' seats are much comfortable compared to Hong Kong airlines, probably the spaces between the seats are much wider.  After getting off our flight at San Francisco, it was freezing!!!!!  We immediately got on the AirTrain heading towards to get our rental car.  K considered we would be having a 'road trip', so he rented a Mid-Size SUV for a more comfortable trip :)  We used ZuZuche to do the booking and got our car at the Alamo counter at the airport.

到舊金山之後覺得超級凍！我地即刻去租車公司攞車，K租咗中型SUV，真的坐得很舒服^_^

After checking the car is in good condition, we started our America journey :)

As K was not that confident at first, we cancelled our original plan to the Oracle Center for NBA Christmas Game.  We rented a GPS from rental car company, and we found the nearest Jack-in-the-Box for our first meal in the US.
我地取消咗原定去睇NBA嘅計劃，攞咗車之後就去咗最近嘅Jack-in-the-Box充饑。

This soda machine really fascinated me, I have not seen such a large variety of soft drinks in my life so far.

After the meal, we started our journey to the hostel we have booked.  HOSTEL LINK
食完野就去台灣民宿了=) 就當去民宿嘅路係K練習左鈦駕駛 B)

After taking a short rest in the hostel, we went out for a little sightseeing and dinner hunting :)
係民宿休息咗陣就去行吓街同埋揾野食~~~

Daniel and Joanne (hosts of the hostel) recommended us to take a walk in the Union Square.  The decorations are incredible!!!! However, majority of the shops were closed due to Christmas Day.

We parked at the Union Square Car Park. (rate $2.50 per hour)

We found this restaurant selling pizza near the Union Square.

Pepperoni by slice [US$3.70] 10 Buffalo Wings [US$8.45]

We got takeaway from the restaurants and drove back to Treasure Island.  We ate inside the car while enjoying this beautiful scenery of San Francisco.

我地係Union Square附近買咗pizza同buffalo wings，係慢活島海旁望住超靚海景食晚餐。

This is the hostel and it's the only photo I took :P  Definitely check them out if you are going to San Francisco!!!!
